Week 6

Week 6. This week in center we have completed assignments 368 and 391 during these assignments i have learnt the basics of webpage designing and hosting, system management, file management.

Pastoral

this week for pastoral we learnt how to stop acts of terrorism and what to do if we think someone is going to commit an act of terrorism.

Week 5

This week in center i have completed 032 assignment this assignment thought me setting up a VPN, certificates, and security measures. Furthermore the fire department and police came in to teach us about drugs and alcohol and show us how they would get a person out of a crashed car.  

Week 3

This week I have a possible interview set up for Aria PC based in Longsight also I have sent my CV out to a company called Kizen Law which a friend is one of the managers there also I have wrote out an email to send out to companies to see if they are looking to hire an apprentice.

Week 2

This week i have finished my 031 assignment in this assignment I have learn't the OSI 7 layer model and the TCP/IP model as well as this i have learnt different typologies and wiring standards. Furthermore PC Fletcher came in on Friday and talked about general policing which was a useful insight to policing.

Barclays Life Skills

People from Barclays came in to talk to use about life skills like money management, different types of insurances like home insurance, car insurance and also to add to this different types of fraud was discusses and what measures and in places and what precautions we can take to stop people committing fraud on ourselves. From this discussion i have learnt how to help prevent people committing fraud on me and how to be more safe.
